ΑΔΑΜ

Definition

ΑΔΑΜ stands for Αριθμός Διαδικτυακής Ανάρτησης Μητρώου, the Registry Posting Number. It is the unique code that ΚΗΜΔΗΣ assigns automatically to every act recorded in it: request, notice, award decision, contract, payment order. With the ΑΔΑΜ anyone can retrieve the exact record from the ΚΗΜΔΗΣ search and verify its content.

How it is formed

The ΑΔΑΜ has three parts: the last two digits of the year of posting, a prefix of Latin letters that states the type of act, and a nine-digit serial number. The code 26SYMV019612345 is a contract recorded in 2026 with serial number 019612345.

Where to find it

The ΑΔΑΜ is printed on the first page of every document recorded in ΚΗΜΔΗΣ, usually top right, together with the posting date. For your contract you will find it on the signed agreement as the contracting authority returns it after posting, or by searching for the contract in ΚΗΜΔΗΣ under your company name.

Why it matters

• On the invoice. The electronic invoice to the public sector must carry the ΑΔΑΜ of the contract in the contract reference field. Without it, or with the ΑΔΑΜ of another act, the invoice is rejected. See the guide on e-invoicing.
• In tracking. The acts of one contract have different ΑΔΑΜ codes but are linked in ΚΗΜΔΗΣ. From the ΑΔΑΜ of the notice you reach the award, the contract and the payments.
• In validity. A contract that has not received an ΑΔΑΜ, that is, has not been recorded in ΚΗΜΔΗΣ, is void.

ΑΔΑΜ and ΑΔΑ

The ΑΔΑ is the corresponding code of Διαύγεια and concerns every administrative decision, not only contracts. An award decision has both an ΑΔΑ, because it is a decision, and an ΑΔΑΜ, because it concerns a contract. The two codes have different formats and do not replace one another.
